Job summary

VCU Health is seeking Clinical Nurse I–III to provide direct patient care, safely administer medications, and document care per an integrated plan. Positions require Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, with Clin II requiring 12–24 months and Clin III three years of experience, plus progression toward BSN.

Roles include leading at unit level, rotating shifts (all three). Salary ranges are provided per level, with compensation based on credentials and performance. EEO employer.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
• RN experience: Clin II 12–24 months, Clin III 3 years
• Enrol in RN to BSN within 2 years and complete within 5 years

Responsibilities

• Delivers and documents direct, age-specific care per medical orders and care plan
• Safely administers prescribed medications, identifies interactions
• Provides direction and education at unit level, leads and delegates as applicable
