Job summary

Mount Sinai seeks a Clinical Nurse who provides safe, competent care to a designated patient group, applying nursing theory and evidence-based practice as part of a collaborative care team.

You will implement the nursing process, educate patients and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes while maintaining a focus on relationship-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or ADN with clinical practice experience.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs with critical thinking.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Educates patients and caregivers about plan of care, transition of care, and health promotion.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Documents nursing practice accurately to support quality initiatives.
