Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program; BSN or ADN with BSN in progress.
• RN license in New York State.
• Bachelor's or higher nursing degree(s) as required by Mount Sinai policies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the nursing process and professional practice model.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate the plan of care.
• Educates patients and caregivers about plan of care and discharge.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family and care team.
• Documents nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
