Job summary

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine is seeking a Clinical Nurse III in the Medical Surgical Unit to deliver world-class, compassionate oncology care to a diverse patient population.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor treatment-related side effects, and develop individualized care plans while collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and the broader care team to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 – 5 years related experience
• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification

Responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate care for patients in the Medical Surgical Unit.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor treatment side effects.
• Create individualized, evidence-based care plans.
• Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and role model for new staff.
• Practice in alignment with City of Hope standards and model.
