Job summary

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine is seeking a Clinical Nurse III for the Medical Surgical Unit. You will coordinate care for oncology patients, perform assessments, monitor treatment-related effects, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and pharmacists.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BSN, 3–5 years of experience, and BLS/ACLS; ONS chemo/immunotherapy cert preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level nursing degree required.
• CA Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• ACLS certification through AHA required.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to manage patient care.
• Assess patient conditions and respond to complications.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document care plans and patient progress accurately.
• Mentor and support new staff on unit procedures.
