Qualifications

• RN license in Maryland (current and valid)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Minimum of 1+ year of clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical or similar acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care on the 7 West Medical Surgical Unit during nightshift.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and document changes timely.
• Administer medications and therapies per protocol and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment.
• Mentor and orient junior staff as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and hospital policies.
