Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled RN to provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients and families in an acute care setting.

You will advocate for patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, collect health data, and develop individualized care plans. This role emphasizes education, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to clinical pathways to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program is required.
• 1+ year of acute care experience is required.
• NYS RN license and registration required.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills.
• BLS certification required.
• HCAHPS/EPIC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients and families.
• Advocate for patients and deliver high-quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Collect comprehensive patient health data from patients and/or family members.
• Analyze data to determine needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Update care plans based on patient progression and clinical pathways.
• Manage care delivery and ensure orders are carried out promptly.
