Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a dedicated RN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other care professionals.

Key responsibilities include educating patients and families on illness management and medications, ensuring safety, and documenting care plans.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active RN licensure in good standing.
• Experience: None required; 2+ years preferred.

Job description

Role: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, conducting assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluations within nursing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication use.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Maintains safety-sensitive standards, working in a constant state of alertness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
