Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to lead orientation, ongoing education, and competency assessment for clinical staff on the Hematology/Oncology unit. This role focuses on evidence-based nursing practice, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with nursing leadership.

You will plan and deliver education activities, onboard new staff, mentor teams, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN with Bachelor's degree required and Florida license.
• BLS/AHA certifications required; APHON and PALS preferred for Hematology/Oncology.
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate staff education and competency.

Responsibilities

• Plans, updates, and evaluates clinical competencies to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• May perform clinical patient care when needed.
• Promotes evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with nursing leaders to assess learning needs and staff competencies.
• Develops departmental goals aligned with organizational vision.
• Delivers education activities and oversees onboarding for new staff and students.
• Serves as consultant/mentor for program development and clinical practice.
