Job summary

Kaleida Health’s BGMC Nursing Educators department is seeking a part-time Nursing Educator in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and evaluating education for staff in the patient care setting across shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold NYS RN licensure, BLS, and a master's in Nursing or Education, with at least two years of clinical teaching experience preferred. Onsite work arrangement. Salary ranges are posted for bi-weekly pay periods.

Job Description

Education And Credentials

Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. RNs, hired prior to 7/1/2017, have until January 6, 2020 to obtain American Heart Association-BLS certification which must be maintained thereafter. Existing WCHOB RNs must acquire BLS certification as part of the training and orientation to OCH. Masters degree in Nursing or Education required.

Experience

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the clinical area(s) related to the position required. Previous teaching experience preferred.
