Job summary

Kaleida Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to assess and treat patients, follow physician orders, and provide restorative care on site in Buffalo.

The role requires NYS RN registration and BLS, participation in background checks, and adherence to Kaleida Health policies as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Standard hours with a bi-weekly schedule, onsite work, and a competitive wage based on experience within the NYS system.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
• American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire and kept current.
• Successful passing of background check required.

Job description

Assesses and treats human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being. Executes medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider legally authorized under the NYS Education Department and in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations. Adheres to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.

Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. Successful passing of background check required.
