AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC seeks a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to advance education, research, and competency across units, applying ANPD standards and evidence-based practice. Role emphasizes clinical inquiry, onboarding, and staff development.

Responsibilities include coordinating education plans, promoting lifelong learning, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and professional practice.

Formación

• Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications.
• Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
• Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to fulfill the seven roles of the NPD practitioner.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (CMS, OSHA).

Responsabilidades

• Supports nursing professional development through evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Creates and coordinates onboarding and orientation for new staff using ANPD standards.
• Plans and delivers education programs and learning activities for nurses and staff.
• Evaluates competency and supports preceptors and practice transitions.
• Promotes certification and collaboration with academic partners for student placement.
