Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator for CCU and Medical-Surgical units. You will lead evidence-based education, onboarding, and competency assessments to improve patient outcomes.

Requires RN license (NV or compact), BSN, and PICU experience; 2+ years in clinical education; travel up to 25%. Sunrise offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• MUST have PICU experience.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital preferred.
• Currently licensed as an RN in the state of practice or holds an active compact state license required.
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification preferred.
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare personnel.
• Provides orientation/onboarding to promote employee retention.
• Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust the program based on evaluation results.
• Participates in development and management of competency.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps for identified audiences.
• Develops activities to achieve outcomes related to knowledge, skill and practice improvements.
• Promotes EBP to improve practice and supports research, EBP, and quality improvement.
• Facilitates lifelong learning and staff development.
