Job summary
CommonSpirit is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator (ED/ICU) in Nevada to advance staff development and evidence-based nursing practice across Emergency Services and Intensive Care units. You will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate competency and continuing education programs for diverse healthcare professionals.
The role requires strong organizational and presentation skills, with a passion for teaching and a track record in healthcare education.
Qualifications
- RN license from NV State Nursing Board.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Master's Degree in Nursing Education or related area (or current enrollment in a Master's program with an approved education plan).
Responsibilities
- Facilitate staff development and educational processes for the assigned unit. Lead competency, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
- Provide expert clinical education, consultation, and facilitation to ED/ICU teams and other staff.
- Report to Education leadership and support a professional nursing climate aligned with organizational mission.
