Job summary

Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric IMC to perform the full nursing process—from assessment through evaluation—on a rotating shift. You may serve as Team Leader for portions of a shift and participate in a high-acuity CICU environment.

Required are an active NV RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/PALS/ACLS certification; BSN is preferred. Prior pediatric cardiac acute care experience is requested.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nevada.
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Peds Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certification.
• Recent Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse in Pediatric IMC performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients.
• May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shift
