Job summary

Main Line HealthCare seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead orientation, training, competency validation, and continuing education for ambulatory nursing and medical assistant staff in procedural practices across Surgical and Women’s Health. The role will partner with teams and support shared decision-making to advance program development and evidence-based practice initiatives.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one nursing degree (BSN or MSN) required.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.

You will also support shared decision-making at the clinical, departmental, and system levels while helping advance program development and evidence-based practice initiatives. The Clinical Nurse Educator’s home base is Newtown Square, but they are expected to travel to practice locations across the organization as needed to support operational and educational priorities.

Position

Clinical Nurse Educator – Main Line HealthCare, Surgical and Women’s Practices

Shift

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; no weekends or holidays.

Experience

• Three to five years of recent nursing experience in area of expertise.
• Prior Clinical Nurse Educator or related experience is preferred.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one degree must be in nursing, such as a BSN or MSN.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

• PA RN license or a multistate license verified in one of the approved Nursing Licensure Compact states.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
