Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to assess, plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the educational needs of Nursing across Critical Care, Emergency Services, Maternal Child and Perioperative units.

The role requires a registered nurse licensed in North Carolina with a Bachelor's degree, and 3–5 years in a nursing specialty. A Master’s degree and specialty certification are preferred as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an approved school.
• NC nursing license is required.
• 3–5 years in a nursing specialty is preferred.
• Certification in nursing specialty is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an approvedschool of professional nursing with a Bachelor's Degree.
• A Masters Degree in Nursing preferred, consideration may be given to individuals in active pursuit of a Masters Degree.
• Licensed registered nursein the state of North Carolina.
• A minimum of three to five years in nursing specialty.
• Certification in nursing specialty, (AACN) preferred.
