Job summary

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) for the Operating Room to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. You will lead and coordinate OR activities, participate in policy adherence, and support staff with a focus on exceptional patient experiences.

This role requires a BSN, TX RN license (or compact with TX license within 90 days), BLS certification, and at least 1 year of OR experience; CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current RN license in Texas or multi-state compact; TX license within 90 days of hire if using compact.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• CNOR preferred.
• 1 year OR experience required; charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all Operating Room functions during the shift.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies; serve as a resource to staff; support the organization’s vision and patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) Operating Room for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Operating Room during the designated shift.
• You will monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcome that contributes to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
• CNOR is preferred
• 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting is required. Charge experience is preferred.
