Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care and serves as a resource for staff, supporting an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions/discharges, support improved outcomes, provide coaching, and help with staff scheduling to ensure smooth unit operations.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
