Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead patient-centered care on the PCU. The CNC partners with the management team to monitor nursing care and ensure adherence to laws and policies while serving as a resource for staff and promoting an exceptional patient experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, staff coaching and scheduling support, and continuous improvement of outcomes and service.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure required (Registered Nurse).
• Associate Degree required for nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and subject matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What qualifications you will need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
