Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the 11am–9pm shift with no on-call requirements. The CNC will lead nursing care, coordinate functions within the unit, and mentor staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes within established policies.

Required licensure as an RN and an Associate's in Nursing; BLS and ACLS are required, with a preferred Masters in Nursing and Charge Nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Required experience: OR RN hospital nursing experience.
• Preferred experience: Charge Nurse experience.
• Required degree: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred degree: Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Required license: Current RN license in state of practice.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during the designated shift.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Shift: 11am-9pm. No call.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience: OR RN hospital nursing experience
• Preferred Experience: Charge Nurse experience
• Required Degree: Associates Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Degree: Masters Degree in Nursing
• Required License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
