Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to guide the day-to-day delivery of established program processes, ensuring smooth operation of the unit and collaboration with the Nurse Manager. The role requires an RN with GA licensure, an Associate’s degree in Nursing, and 3–5 years of healthcare management experience.

You will supervise staff, manage medications, and coordinate data-driven care in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in GA.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments, collects data and analysis of data.
• Provides direct care including medication administration and documentation.
• Coordinates nursing efforts and maintains unit daily operations.
• Supervises staff clinically and administratively; documents supervision in Kronos.
• Ensures incident and infection control reports are completed within 24 hours and followed up.
• Provides in-service trainings and staff meetings; ensures mandatory trainings are completed.
• Oversees the ordering and management of medications.
• Keeps medication room and Lab orderly.
• Communicates needs with the Nurse Manager weekly.
• Covers RN/LPN shifts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
