Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead the Mother Baby unit during night shifts. The role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care, coordination of nursing functions, and collaboration with the management team to support positive outcomes.

The CNC will oversee admissions/discharges, staff development, and scheduling, ensuring adherence to policies and a culture of safety and service excellence for mothers and newborns.

Qualifications

• RN license active in state(s) of practice.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• BLS certification is required; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Professional certification in a specialty area is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and quality patient care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
• Assists with inventory control and supplies management.
