Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees all unit functions during their shift. They collaborate with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, serve as a resource, and embody the organization’s values to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in quality assessments of patient care services.
• Collaborate to foster teamwork and support improved outcomes.
• Engage in service recovery and support a patient-first philosophy.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and service.
• Contribute to staff hiring, training, and development, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Manage staff scheduling and labor costs in line with patient care needs.
• Support inventory and supply management.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 60 months.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 60 months.
