Description

The Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialist (ICS) is responsible for providing technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers and laboratory staff. The focus is on diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems, with an emphasis on Structural Heart and the use of the AcuNav Volume ICE catheter.

The ICS builds and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with physicians and laboratory staff to promote interest in new products or indications, aiming to grow and develop the company's product and technology utilization.

The role involves participating in internal and external training, maintaining optimal 2D/4D workflow techniques, and possessing strong competitive knowledge. The ICS collaborates with the ICE Clinical Sales Director, ICE Catheter Director, and Sales Managers to meet business objectives and sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide clinical product and technical assistance and training on the effective use of the AcuNav Volume Catheter.
• Use consultative selling techniques to identify sales opportunities.
• Maximize case support through proper planning and scheduling.
• Stay current with product instructions, best practices, troubleshooting, scientific literature, and new product information.
• Prioritize and respond to requests efficiently, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
• Engage with internal and external partners to formulate solutions based on dialogue and input.
• Participate in training, maintain scanning techniques, and stay informed on competitive knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab, focusing on structural heart and 3D/4D imaging.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
• Maintain clinical knowledge of healthcare industry trends.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting, standing for extended periods, and wearing protective gear.
• May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License required.
