Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an RN to support pediatric behavioral health care within a children’s hospital, focusing on escalation prevention education, care plan updates, CPI event response, and collaboration with patients and families.

This full-time role involves floating across the hospital to educate staff, develop individualized care plans, and ensure safety and quality through ongoing professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric behavioral health RN experience preferred.
• RN license required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Prior CPI training is advantageous.
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills; safety-consciousness is essential.

This RN position supports the Behavioral Assessment Response Team (BART) at a children’s hospital, providing care for patients with complex behavioral health needs. The role involves floating throughout the hospital to educate staff on escalation prevention, review and update behavioral plans, respond to CPI events, and foster relationships with patients and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards.
