Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive care within a multidisciplinary team for patients with complex behavioral health needs. The role covers assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring, and emotional support for patients and families.

You will work 36 hours per week, including nights and weekends, with growth opportunities through a career ladder and pay increases.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure.
• 1 year of Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, or inpatient nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural values.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, or inpatient nursing; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
