Job Overview

The Cardiology ICU/PCU is a 24-bed unit caring for complex cardiac conditions, equipped for advanced monitoring and interventions. Staff are trained to care for both ICU and PCU patients, splitting their time after orientation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, competent nursing care, applying the nursing process and accepting accountability for patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care across the continuum.
  • Expand knowledge and skills to deliver individualized, culturally sensitive, and age-appropriate care.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (BSN preferred)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Relevant professional nursing experience (preferably 15+ months) and completion of Nurse Residency Program if applicable
