Position Summary

The Rhoads 4 GI/Bariatric Surgical Unit is seeking a new graduate RN to join the team. The role involves rotating every 4 weeks between day (7a-7p) and night shifts (7p-7a), with every third weekend scheduled.

Responsibilities
  • The Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice is a newly licensed RN or one with less than 15 months of experience, demonstrating basic safe practice and seeking guidance to develop professional competencies.
  • Provides direct patient care across all ages, collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate care, and developing skills for complex patient management.

  • Evidence-Based Practice: Integrates current evidence with clinical expertise and patient preferences.

  • BLS/CPR certification as per AHA standards.
  • Registered Nurse license in PA or Multi-State.
