Arbor Neuroscience is expanding its human neuroscience program and seeks a lead researcher to run longitudinal, within-subject studies combining functional ultrasound imaging and neuromodulation. You will design studies, travel to clinical sites, set up rigs, collect data with staff and partners, and interpret results.

You'll work closely with the analysis lead and engineers, grow the program from a hands-on start, and help steer research directions alongside the CEO and scientific team.

Qualifications

• PhD and experience running human neuroscience research.
• Experience running studies end to end: recruitment, data collection, analysis.
• Comfort troubleshooting hardware and software rigs.
• Strong computational skills for standard analyses.
• Interest in translating research to patients.

Responsabilités

• Design longitudinal, causal within-subject human studies: imaging first, then neuromodulation.
• Run those experiments or oversee them as the program grows.
• Own the experimental rigs: specify what's needed, keep them running, and work with engineers on usability.
• Collaborate with research partners, including travel to clinical sites.
• Support recruitment alongside clinical operations.
• Analyze and interpret data with the analysis lead.
• Write up results, publish, and present at scientific meetings.
• Help shape the human neuroscience program.
