Job summary

Arbor Neuroscience is a nonprofit research organization within the Convergent Research family, building a longitudinal human-studies program in neuromodulation. This role focuses on making studies run—IRB submissions, site readiness, recruitment, scheduling, safety, and documentation—with partnerships at hospitals and academic centers.

You'll help grow the program toward at-home studies, align with clinicians, and build clinical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in human clinical research operations.
• Scientific training to engage with clinicians and researchers; PhD is common but not required.
• Strong written and spoken communication to explain research and draft key documents.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills to keep teams aligned without established processes.
• Ambition to build clinical infrastructure, not just run studies.
• Direct, constructive communication without unnecessary friction.

Responsibilities

• Build the clinical program: define sites and partnerships, develop recruitment strategy, onboard partners.
• Run the studies: lead start-up, manage IRB submissions, schedule visits, payments, and travel.
• Coordinate device deployment, equipment readiness, and study-specific technical support; troubleshoot as needed.
• Establish TMF, document control, SOPs, and staff training programs; track adverse events.
