Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, is seeking a day shift, full-time Intravenous Therapy (IR) Clinical Navigator Registered Nurse. The RN will provide oncology-focused care coordination across the cancer continuum and support survivorship information in alignment with CoC standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of Oncology RN experience and NJ licensure.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology.
• She or he will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum.
• In addition, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse.
• Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• Fluency in the English language to function in the job environment appropriately.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g., NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Oncology Certified Nurse, must be willing to obtain within one year of employment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic.
• Bilingual.
