Job summary

IHA in Hartford, CT seeks an Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) to guide cancer patients through their care journey. You will coordinate plans, educate patients, and advocate for timely treatment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience in oncology, hematology, infusion, navigation, or care coordination preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, patient education, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with Epic preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate patient-centered care.

  • Support quality, compliance, and reporting initiatives, including MIPS, QOPI, CoC, and Medicare oncology program requirements.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations and patient support groups to enhance patient access to care.

Description

Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) We are seeking a compassionate and highly organized Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) to guide oncology and hematology patients through every stage of their treatment journey. In this role, you will serve as a patient advocate, care coordinator, educator, and clinical resource, ensuring timely access to high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.
