Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures in accordance with CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, AABB and OSHA standards.
• Maintains knowledge of procedures and protocols.
• Maintains proficiency in performing technical procedures.
• Tests for patients across age ranges from newborns to geriatrics.
• Represents a reliable and productive team member in a two-hospital system.
• Makes independent, timely and accurate decisions.
• Assesses specimen quality and validity of test results.
