Qualifications

• Strong clinical documentation skills.
• Experience and/or knowledge in providing education and therapeutic counseling for individuals and groups.
• Experience identifying resources for client development and providing substance abuse counseling.
• Ability to discern facts from opinions and remain objective during conflicting input.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Patience, perseverance and resilience in a challenging environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Outlook calendar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an individualized treatment plan within three (3) service days of admission.
• Provide individual and group counseling services as indicated by the schedule and treatment plan.
• Conduct regular treatment plan reviews each week.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and complete discharge summaries within two working days of discharge.
• Monitor authorization length and adjust treatment plans accordingly using the EHR system.
• Ensure documentation in the clinical record meets clinical, funding, and billing criteria.
• Collaborate with management to uphold Cenikor's core principles and maintain a positive work environment.
