Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced Medical Support Specialist to provide clerical, clinical, and business support under direct supervision in the General Surgery area at Exeter, NH. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend rotations and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities include pre-visit work, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers during examinations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or registered through a formal training program within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical, clinical and business support under supervision.
• Perform pre-visit work, take vital signs, reconcile medications.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing; follow up with patients.
• Handle front desk duties: greeting, scheduling, answering calls, charting.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.
• May scribe and document encounters; order labs and referrals as needed.
