Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Prior experience with clinical triage and prior authorization processes is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and standard office software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical triage and manage patient phone calls.
• Coordinate prior authorizations for medications and imaging.
• Monitor and document fridge temperatures and stock clinical rooms.
• Review and respond to EHR portal messages within 48 hours.
• Assist and triage client inquiries and refill requests.
• Liaise with insurers to complete prior authorizations and notify providers.
