The Clinical Medical Assistant appropriately cares for patients of all ages; assists providers in procedures; accesses reference/resource manuals as needed; accurately documents all patient care interactions; performs assigned duties as scheduled and meets deadlines. The position requires collecting patient data, communicating results, prioritizing patient needs, empathizing, maintaining confidentiality, staying calm in difficult situations, organizing resources efficiently, and adhering to policies and procedures while leading by example.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program is required, or two years of relevant patient care or medical support experience. BLS certification within 6 months of hire is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of medication effects, communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to perform various clinical procedures. Ability to remain calm under stress, maintain confidentiality, and work with attention to safety and legal standards.
Requires regular attendance, handling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and near vision. Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., standing, walking, and reaching. Occasional lifting over 100 lbs., sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other physical activities.
