Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; graduate of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, medications, allergies.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
• Assist with examinations and routine clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and injections within scope of training and regulations.
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Document patient information in the Electronic Health Record in a timely, compliant manner.
