Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients and administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patients condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to physicians.
• Screens patients for appropriate information and prepares them for physician examination.
• Performs EKGs, removes sutures and performs dressing changes as directed.
• Maintains patient records, charts, and confidentiality; prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies.
