Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in examinations and treatment, while maintaining patient confidentiality and handling clerical duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and 2 years of MA experience; familiarity with medical terminology and computer systems is required. This is a full-time, on-site position in Kansas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• MA course completion certification preferred.
• Must obtain current BLS certification.
• 2 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• PC skills and medical terminology literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, manage flow, and escort to discharge.
• Obtain patient history, triage, measure vital signs, document data.
• Explain procedures and prepare exam room for the provider.
• Prepare and hand instruments, sterilize equipment as directed.
• Administer injections, medications, labs, and assist procedures.
• Perform CLIA-waived labs and collect/process specimens.
• Record medical services, results, and supplies used.
• Schedule follow-ups, referrals, and patient callbacks.
• Monitor inventory and assist with clerical duties as needed.
