Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire; American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians as they assess, examine and treat patients.
• Manage patient flow and conduct procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy and injections.
• Record vitals and act as liaison to physicians to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintain and order supplies for the area as needed.
