Role Summary

Manage and conduct career technical training (CTT) to ensure students graduate with employable skills.

Essential Functions

• Lead hands-on clinical skills training sessions.
• Develop and update curricula for clinical skills, medical terminology, and laws/procedures.
• Teach medical assistant material aligned with CMA testing requirements.
• Foster a positive classroom environment to motivate students.
• Integrate academic concepts with employability skills.
• Customize instruction to meet student needs and maintain discipline.
• Coordinate field trips, guest speakers, and special projects.
• Develop and implement technical training projects.
• Collaborate with academic instructors on skill reinforcement.
• Maintain industry advisory relationships.
• Evaluate and document student progress timely.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and training records.
• Assist students with advanced training programs and career readiness.
• Participate in career mentoring and support services.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED (required); bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years related experience; teaching experience preferred.

Certifications

• State licensure or accreditation; trade organization certification preferred.
• CPR certification.

Additional Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record if applicable.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass drug/background checks.
