You will work under Physician direction within Rush Medical Group. The ideal candidate will have a CMA certification, a high school diploma, CPR, and strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification by AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NAHP/AAH/NHA required upon hire.
• Rush Medical Assistant Apprenticeship grads must certify within six months.
• Current CPR certification required on start date.
• Computer skills and excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and maintain organized patient flow.
• Perform patient intake: vital signs, reason for visit, allergies, meds, and interim history.
• Prepare patient for exam and assist provider.
• Review schedules and ensure charts are available for the visit.
• Perform basic lab and testing procedures, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
• Administer immunizations and medications as ordered by Physician.
