HCA Healthcare, a leading healthcare system, seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant to support patient intake, room preparation, and procedural assistance. You will take histories, measure vitals, perform injections, and help with labs, under physician supervision.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited MA program or equivalent experience, with MA certification preferred. Excellent teamwork and patient-centered care are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR 12 months direct clinical patient care experience.
• Candidates with one year of Medical work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Certification within one year of hire date.
• Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies; ensure sterilization.
• Provide injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer phone calls and screen referrals.
