Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced clinic environment in Wisconsin. You will prepare patients for visits, assist with examinations, labs, and screenings, and handle scheduling, registrations, and payments with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate graduated from an ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited program (or equivalent), possesses CPR/BLS certification within 90 days, and has clinical rotation experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited medical assistant program or equivalent.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical rotation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and assisting with procedures.
• Room patients, collect assessment data and document in charts.
• Schedule/coordinate appointments and referrals, answer calls and triage as needed.
• Assist with laboratory tests and screenings, maintain supplies and records.
• Collect payments and issue receipts, maintain patient charts.
