Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, No Holidays Required, Weekends Off, On Call - Not Required

Scheduled Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm, 7:45am-4:15pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm (variable)

Shift: Day Shift, 8 Hours

Hours per Week: 24

Compensation

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus

I. Major Responsibilities

• Provide patient care including assessment, care planning, documentation, and evaluation of progress.
• Coordinate patient flow, prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures and draw blood as directed.
• Follow up on laboratory results and document findings.
• Maintain records, reports, and logs.
• Perform clerical duties such as scheduling and communication.
• Manage departmental supplies and inventory.

II. Position Qualifications

All responsibilities are essential functions.

License/Certification/Education:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant required within six months of hire, to be maintained thereafter.

Preferred:

• High School diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.

Experience/Skills:

• Knowledge of office and laboratory procedures required.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience preferred.
