Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to build referral networks, manage a defined geography, and coordinate patient assessments across inpatient and post-acute care settings. This role emphasizes face-to-face engagement with physicians, discharge planners, and care teams to drive patient referrals and seamless admissions.

You will analyze community needs, educate providers on hospital programs, and navigate barriers to admission.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license in the employed state and valid driving record.
• Active state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 2+ years clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• 1+ years in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on our hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Responds to and overcomes admission barriers and follows-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about our services and outcomes.

• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.
