Job summary

The SUD Clinical Manager takes the lead in overseeing client management, fostering community partnerships, and optimizing the cost-effectiveness of clinical work. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, the SUD Clinical Manager actively engages in program development and implementation, aligning with the vision set by the Clinical Director. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including funding agencies, referral sources, and community partners, they contribute significantly to the success of the program. Our specialized and culturally sensitive services have earned respect within the community, opening unique funding opportunities and avenues for growth.

Whether managing substance use disorder services, DUII services, or facilitating Certified Recovery Mentor training, the SUD Clinical Manager stands as an indispensable member of our LCSNW team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and report on the performance of programs and contracts, as well as their financial needs.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to program staff on clinical issues and program successes, oversee CADC-I and CADC-R to certification.
  • Manage program planning, budget, and fiscal aspects.
  • Set clear goals and deadlines in alignment with program objectives and outcomes, assign tasks, motivate staff to achieve goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies when necessary.
  • Ensure quality clinical services and accurate documentation through oversight and evaluation of services, including intakes for new clients (diagnosis and person-centered treatment planning) and intervention fidelity to State, County, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate community resources to serve clients in the most effective and efficient manner within the resources of LCSNW.
  • Provide case management services as needed, including information and referral, and client advocacy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certified CADC II
  • 5 years of related SUD experience as recognized by OHA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or related field
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Travels between worksites occasionally
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program

  • Team Member.
