Job summary

Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN licensure required.
  • Active Personal Care Home Administrator license or ability to obtain.
  • Two years experience in Gerontology preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to instruct, direct and lead staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement resident care policies and standards of practice.
  • Oversee staffing and supervision of the department.
  • Perform daily rounds to assure quality service.
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings with all shifts.
  • Maintain resident records and prepare reports.
  • Ensure personal care needs of residents are met.
  • Develop comprehensive resident assessments and plans of care.
  • Know admission process and regulations.
  • Maintain departmental fiscal control via monthly statements.
  • Relate resident and staffing information to Administrator.
  • Assess accidents and implement follow-up actions.
  • Serve as interim PC Home Administrator when needed.

The Resident Services Manager for (Personal Care) is responsible for organization, supervision and administration of the total resident care program, including coordination of social, medical, psychological, spiritual and physical services for residents.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (in state position is located) required
  • Active Personal Care Home Administrator license or ability to obtain required
  • Two years experience in Gerontology preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Ability to instruct, direct and lead staff
  • Strong computer skills

  • Relate all necessary resident and staffing information to Administrator.
  • Assess accidents and develop and implement recommendations for follow-up.
  • Serve as interim PC Home Administrator, as necessary.
